Juliénas LOUIS LORON & FILS

Designation

The Juliénas area covers the souther and southwestern side of Mont de Bessay which at 478 m. altitude, is the last hill to the north of Beaujolais, in the Mâconnais region. Along with Pruzilly and Emeringes, the towns of Jullié and Juliénas define the limits of this cru's soil. Granite soils that are rich in alluvial sediments produce wines of character that age well.
