One of the ten crus from Beaujolais, renowned since the 18th century. It is bordered on the north by the Moulin-à-vent, to the south by the Morgon and to the west, the Chiroubles. The vineyard is within the borders of the town of Fleurie, and is sheltered from the western winds by the Beaujolais hills, benefiting from a southeast exposure. It extends to the foot of the Chapelle de la Madone, at 425 m. altitude.
