Designation

The designation Brouilly is located to the west of Belleville-sur-Saône - the largest and most southern of the Beaujolais crus - includes wines that express the great diversity of the granite soils produce them to the west, on compact rocks that are hard in the center, and on soils that are sometimes covered with alluvial sediment to the east of Mount Brouilly.

Winemaking and growing

• Semi-carbonic maceration 12 to 15 days • Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperatures • 100% malolactic fermentation • Exclusively aged in cement vats.

The Brouilly goes very well with feathered game or stews.
