Moulin à Vent LOUIS LORON & FILS

Designation

A Windmill on top of a hill is emblematic of the oldest Beaujolais designation. Moulin-à-vent - which is not a town - groups together the best hillsides in Romanèche-Thorins and Chénas. The cru Fleurie is to the southwest of the vineyards and the Chénas designation to the north. Gores, or crumbled granite, produce a wine that is both full-bodied and fine, good for aging and which can sometimes be compared to its Burgundy cousins from the Côte d'Or.
